I am beginning to think this is service pack or hotfix related.
This customer is still on FR2. Trying to convince them to at least
install Hotfix 81 which has lots of printing fixes.

For what it's worth, all my printers were auto-created PostScript.
Brands were HP, Xerox and Lexmark (in order of preference).

These are the only two applications that I am having trouble printing on
these servers.  Cognos said they have not tested and do not support Citrix.
Did it make a difference which type driver you used PCL or Postscript?

I've had some experience with Impromptu on Citrix. As far as I recall,
Cognos had no printing problems of its own...all my print troubles were of
the standard TS/Citrix variety.

Anyone had experiece with Cognos Easy Trak or Improptu and Citrix Printing?
Users are having problems retaining their default printer settings and
sometimes it is showing up as landscape or portrait. Their tech support
is basically useless.  I mentioned Citrix and they basically said
ba bye. Have a nice day.
