[THIN] Re: CMC FR3

I upgraded one server to FR3.
I can manage the entire farm with the new FR3 console. (no problems so far)

BTW: It updates the Metaframe splash screen (ica.bmp/ica256.bmp), so back
you personalized ones up!

I have no problems.  I am assuming it went well.  Since my farm is still at
FR2, everything looks the same.  Only difference in the CMC is that the
login box has a different font and Help, About shows everything as being
v1.3.

I've had this problem with both Win2k Professional, XP Home, and Win2003
Server.  I installed the
FR3 CMC and tried to manage my FR2 farm.  It resulted in a hard lock of the
OS.  I assumed that this was not a supported action (managing a FR2 farm
with FR3 CMC Console) so I removed the FR3 console and reverted back to the
FR2 Console.
