Use tcp /ip + http so that you are browsing with port 80 instead of
using just TCP/ip which uses UDP browsing across 1604

Subject: [THIN] Browsing issue?

Were having an issue with people connecting to the farm using alternate
addresses. This usually only occurs if a server was rebooted midday and
the user is pointed to our published desktop. If you point the user to a
particular servers altaddr, as opposed to the application, they connect.
Weve had this isue while on MF1.8 and it has followed us in to XP.
Anyone seen anything like this? The OS os 2000 Advanced Server SP3, XP
FR2, Sp2
