Hi John

I have work with an IBM Blade system, sorry can't give you specific model
numbers.

Dual P4 2.3 Ghz servers with 36Gb SCSI drives in a RAID 1 config, Ghz NIC.
They were very sweet, ran extremely well. I would never go IDE drives in a
server if I had a choice of SCSI.

But space wise you would probably have been able to fit the same number of
Pizza boxes in the rack space that the Blade Chassis took. I don't know
pricing, happy to say I don't deal with that.

Apples and Oranges.

Cheers

Cherie Kelly

Subject: [THIN] Blade Servers

Has anybody had any experience with using Citrix or Terminal Services farms
on Blade Servers? If so, IDE or SCSI drives? Brands?

Thanks!
