Beyond the fact that BES 4.0 supports full wireless sync (meaning no
need to deal with cradling, ever, except for charging), it gives you
full security control over the Blackberry via 100's of policy settings.
And if that's not enough of a selling point, tell him with BES, you can
remote kill any handheld if it's lost or misplaced, since it's likely a
key executive won't want to deal with a password and an auto lock on his
handheld (just one of many things you can enforce with IT policies via
BES).

Yes I thought we needed an Enterprise server, but he wouldn't
believe me.

It's doable using something like USB-IT from provision
Networks, but using a back-end Blackberry server might end up being a
whole lot better for you.

My CEO is asking me to install the blackberry desktop
software on the terminal server. Will he be able to sync his contacts
and appt's in this way with the redirector?
I don't have a blackberry so I'm not sure if this is
doable.
                Thanks
