If the=20 clients printer is a non-standard TSE printer, you will use the file=20 C:\WTSrv\System32\WTSUprn.inf to remap the non-standard drivers to emmulate as=20 a standard supported TSE printer (i.e. no custom print drivers need to be setup=20 on the server). =20 If you have a network pinter you want everyone to be able to use, then you can=20 setup a local printer on Citrix server and give everyone permissions to print=20 on it. =20 For more info, good printing architecture white paper: =20 http://knowledgebase.citrix.com/SERVICESOFT/DATA/CITRIXKB/document/white papers/ccs/mfxp/Printing_Architecture_Solution.pdf Regards, Jason -----Original=20 Message----- From: marguz [SMTP:marguz@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2002 12:45 PM To: thin Cc: marguz Subject: [THIN] Autocreate LOCAL Client printers -HELP I've spent a good portion of the morning trying to figure out this autocreat thing for printers. I've found info on how to troubleshoot it, but I need a step-by-step on how to add it. This is what I've did so far... Printer is a HP Deskjet 990cxi 1. Setup local printing on the Neoware and selected the driver "HP DeskJet 970Cxi" 2. Installed the drivers on the Citrix server. It is listed as "hp deskjet 990c series" 3. ??? Do I add the printer to the server and give the user rights to it? If so, then why use auto creation?
