  SAN FRANCISCO, July 19 (Reuters)?Citrix Systems Inc., which makes software to 
access corporate networks, said on Wednesday quarterly profit rose as demand 
for its systems grew in the Americas and license revenue increased. 
   
  The shares tumbled more than 10 percent in extended trading after the company 
estimated third-quarter and full-year earnings in a range whose low end missed 
the average forecasts of analysts.
   
  Net income climbed to $46.5 million, or 24 cents per share, from $27.9 
million, or 16 cents per share, a year earlier. Net revenue rose 30 percent to 
$275.5 million from $211.2 million.
  Second-quarter earnings before special items met analysts' average forecast 
of 33 cents per share, as compiled by Reuters Estimates. Citrix forecast 
third-quarter earnings before items of 33 cents to 34 cents per share, compared 
with analysts' forecast of 34 cents per share.
  For the full year, Citrix forecast earning per share before items of $1.36 to 
$1.39, compared with the analysts' estimate of $1.38.
  The company sees third-quarter revenue between $275 million to $280 million. 
Analysts are forecasting revenue of $272.2 million.
  Citrix shares fell $3.19, or 9.2 percent, to $31.58 in extended trading. They 
had declined 0.6 percent on Nasdaq.
