I believe that you would create two separate isolation environments for each
case. Install the different Java version into each of these environments and
then run IE in each environment respectively.
I have not done it exactly, so I am not totally, sure but I think this would
work. The other option would be to install the two Java's locally and then
redirect/isolate the settings which determine which Java version gets used
by each instance of IE.
Anyone else have feedback on this situation?

What I need, is to run 2 IE processes each with a different JAVA runtime

I believe he is referring to isolating java and then assigning the AIE
to a published IE. This should still work in 4.5.
