[THIN] Re: Another Strange Error

I might have already said this but there was a Knowledge Base article that
somewhat addressed this issue but it applied to post SP2.  I have been on
SP3 since it came out.

I use this box to update my base image.  For example, this new image had the
latest Windows Updates/Office Updates and MDAC 2.7 upgrade.  In addition, it
had some new utilities and scripts I'm using to reboot the server and
perform file level defrag/pagefile defrag/and registry hive defrags.  

I ghosted the box as usual (after sysprep of coarse).  Renamed and added to
the Domain (NT 4 Domain).  I have a very small farm of 6 servers.  The 6
production servers work just fine using the previous image.  For some reason
this image has ceased to function correctly.

When you attempt to logon as a normal user (remotely) you get this error:
"The system cannot log you on (1F).  Please try again or consult your system
admin"

When you attempt to logon as a normal user (locally) you get this problem:
It appears like the logon is going to work then all of a sudden it reverts
back to the logon screen.  The event log shows no errors with full logging
enabled.

Brian,

If you use AD check if your new Citrix server is in Domain Controllers OU
after joining the domain.

Scenario:
Re-ghosted my primary image box (Win2k and Citrix 1.8).  After ghost,
renamed box and added to domain.  (This box has been ghosted probably 10
times prior to this point...same process every time)

Everything looks good..except, only Domain Admins can login locally or
remotely.  When I try to logon as a remote user I get an immediate error
that says:

"The system cannot log you on (1F).  Please try again or consult your system
admin"

I have full logging enabled and nothing out of the ordinary is showing up in
events.

Any suggestions?

PS.. I finally got my script finished so thanks again to everyone that
helped.
