So the full version of Adobe runs ok? It is the printers and distillers that get out of whack? Mostly they want to combine different documents they scan into a single pdf or make one from scratch. It has worked with as a PDF Printer for some programs we use that Adobe has not. I'm not speaking about making PDF from office files, but from programs customized towards our business. Granted I still have Acrobat 5.0, but Cute PDF Printer is FREE and has always worked like a charm. The only issue I've had with it is that after you run something through it, it makes itself your default printer. I just train my users to be watch out for this. For editing, Acrobat is the way to go. =3D20 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Greg Reese Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2004 3:22 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Adobe PDF Creation I have always skipped most of the threads on Adobe because on we don't use anything but the reader here. I have now been asked to get users the ability to create, edit, and save their own pdf files. I know some of you have had trouble with adobe on a terminal server. Given a clean slate, what would be your ideal way to create and edit pdf documents? The people here who have used adobe like it but if there is something better/easier/cheaper, I'm all for it. We are running Windows 2003 Server with Metaframe Xpa FR3.=3D20 Thanks!
