Hi,

The problem with Access 97 processor chewing can be minimised by using
tricerat's startlow utility to run acces 97 at low priority. It still chews
CPU cycles at times, but they're spare idle cycles with little or no impact
on system performance. Task manager looks scarey but it works.

Note that you should install Access 97 first before installing either Office
2K into a different directory, or setting Office XP to retain Access 97.

Regards,

Rick

It runs . . but it chews the processor up with just a few users. This is an
unsupported item on Win2k, MS isn't going to do anything about it.

Have read through the archives but couldnt find a conclusive answer.

Can you run Access 97 on a Win2k Terminal Server?

Does this require any special scripts?

Thanks.
