Do you have permission auditing turned on? If you turn it on you may see some more events in event log. Execise caution not to collect too much info though... Sent: January 9, 2006 10:09 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] AD / Rights Question We are seeing some strange issues. We are running Windows 2003 Active Directory. We are randomly losing rights to our user home drives with no events in the event log. Normally our home drives are owned by Local Admin and Domain Admins, Desktop Group and the user has rights. We can lose any combination of these for no reason. We have about 6,000 users and we will lose about 40 users rights a week. Anyone have any ideas? -- The information in this email belongs to the Pembroke Regional Hospital and may contain confidential and privileged information for the sole use of the individual or organization to which it is addressed.
