Just to follow up with anyone else that may run across this, we opened a
call with Microsoft and here's what we did:
Once the first DC was on the network, the other licensing servers
automatically attempted to begin looking for a licensing service located
on the DC. Within 20 minutes, they will be unable to grant new client
licenses, so make sure you install the service ASAP. We installed the
TS licensing service on the DC, stopped the old two (one for a backup)
and are currently having clients pull temporary licenses (up to 90 days)
until we call Clearinghouse. Microsoft discouraged moving the old
licensing information over since the numbers are generated by the
physical name of the box. As a side note, I also noticed that old group
policies that were added with the Office2k support tools are no longer
functional once flipping the switch on for AD. We'll need to create an
OU and apply normal group policy through AD.

Subject: [THIN] AD Migration
Hi Everyone,
We will be migrating our domain to AD (inplace upgrade) and I was
wondering what tips/advice everyone had to offer. I am aware that the
TS licensing service needs to be moved to the DC, but since this
activity occurs on a weekend and Clearinghouse will not be opened to
reclaim the licenses, will I be okay until later that week? Also,
should I disable the current TS licensing service on my other machines
after installing it on the DC? Any other items to consider that come to
mind?
