We actually had some difficulty with SD, and moved over to ThinPrint.
TP is much more robust in my opinion. IF SD does what you need it is
less expensive, but our programmers kept adding features (spooling
multiple reports, on multiple paper sizes, multiple orientations, from a
crappy access DB) that caused SD to choke. =20
TP took it all stride with much fewer issues.

It depends on your end user environment. If you are supporting Mac
linux/unix and windows then something like thinprint is the way to go
due to its support of mutliple platforms. If you are only supporting
win32 OS's on the client end then Screwdrivers is the way to go

Ok, I'm trying to get a feel for what people use for their 3rd party
printing. Currently we do not have any solution for that, and I have
looked
at Screwdrivers so far, as it seems to be a favorite. We are running
an
NT4 and MF1.8 SP2 farm and FR1 enabled on some machines. What is the
best solution for our hardware setup?
Recent events have gotten management to look more closely at the idea of
spending the money to actually buy a solution so I am trying to get
together an idea of what we should be using.
Thanks
Jason
