Nope, no joy. Tried both and it still pops up with the error. I placed the 
shortcut in the start menu (All Users) and it will open ok, it just prompts 
each time its accessed.

On the machine that the shortcut exists, either map a network drive to that 
location, or add the machine name to the "Local Intranet" sites list in 
Internet Explorer.

Just installed a 2003 Terminal Server and have an app that is a shortcut/link 
to an executable. No problems with this app on a 2000 box but on the 2003 box, 
it prompts each time asking if you are sure you want to open this file. Is 
there a policy or regkey that can suppress the dialogue box?
