Hi Matthew,
There aren't any hard and fast rules with printer droivers. It'd be nice to be
able to say that the newer drivers are better but that's not always the case.
Combine that with printer manufacturers rebadging their older drivers and who
knows :-(
Make sure the drivers aren't kernel mode drivers (NT 4, version 2). Then
download the AddPrinter utility from Citrix' support area. Test your drivers.
If they pass they're safe.
regards,
Rick

Subject: [THIN] 2000 printer drivers on 2003?
Just installed first 2003 server in our environment (PS4 A). Is it safe to just
replicate all the printer drivers from our 2000 server to our 2003 or should I
go to each printer driver manufacture and see if they have a 2003 version of
the driver? What is everyone else doing when they go to 2003 OS?
Thank you,
Matthew Shrewsbury
