My pal Des sent this growing site along. The Encyclopedia of Life seeks to
increase awareness and understanding of living nature through an Encyclopedia
of Life that gathers, generates, and shares knowledge in an open, freely
accessible and trusted digital resource. There are over a million pages of
information and 1.5 million images. If you click the "discover" link at the
top, you'll find teaching resources, podcasts, a glossary and many other tools
that might help in using these materials in your lessons.
