A Rufous-capped Warbler was found at Park Chalk Bluff yesterday by Tim Lenz. The bird was seen and heard today by Tim and Marshall Iliff. The bird is present near the boat ramp along the river. Just listen from the boat ramp and you will be able to hear the bird. The bird is quite vocal and has been seen on an island of reeds/cane in the river near the boat ramp and along the river edge. There is a prior record of this species from Park Chalk Bluff from 1995.
