[texbirds-freelists] Re: [texbirds] Rufous-capped Warbler at Park Chalk Bluff

Brush,

I haven't been there, but in my experience in Mexico (limited, compared to
some!) I've seen RC Warblers where there are some steep slopes, often rocky and
somewhat open, with some dense vegetation (like a butterfly garden or other
brushy tangle) nearby. Does that match with Park Chalk Bluff?

My $.050,

This is exactly where Hockey and I had the species in 1995....I wonder what
makes it such a attractive location for them......B
