[texbirds] Tuesday morning birding, Hagerman NWR.

It was another great day, starting out calm making it easy to observe birds on 
the lake.  We finished the day with 79 species. We saw several hundred Redheads 
and 1400 Double-crested Cormorants feeding with a flock of American White 
Pelicans. We had a total of 7 Red-headed Woodpeckers at various locations. We 
found 16 Purple Finches and 2 Rusty Blackbirds on the road to Meadow Pond. We 
had an early season American Avocet in the marsh north of headquarters. The 
white geese are still present, but will be leaving soon. Ross's Geese were in 
the majority.
