-Rarities found this week-
Up to four LEAST GREBEs were found at a retention pond near
the intersection of Parksville Way & Ambling Trl in Cedar Park, Williamson,
on 10/18. While this species is somewhat easier to observe in the southern
portion of the Circle, they are not so easy to find north of Austin.
Two RED-NECKED PHALAROPES were photographed on Pond 2 at Hornsby Bend,
Travis, on 10/18 and continued through 10/19. At least one bird is still
present through the evening of 10/20. The remaining bird is still being
observed in the middle portion of the pond near the intersection of the
road separating Pond 1 West and East.
A PRAIRIE FALCON was observed flying over Liberty Hill, Williamson, on the
morning of 10/20.

Two GREAT KISKADEEs continue at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown,
Williamson, most recently observed on 10/20.
