[TechAssist] zenith sms1917sg

hello all,

i have an old zenith sms1917sg that has a tuning problem, i have no 
literature and couldnt find any tips for my solution, when you turn the set 
on it stays on channel 2, when you try to connect a good sourse such as a 
vcr or cable and then try to auto search it doesnt find any channels, when 
you try to probe the pins of the tuner with a meter on one pin 4 it will 
return to regular white noise, otherwise the screen is blank with a blueish 
looking noise and the sound is distorted noise, when you turn the set off 
you can still hear noise coming from the speaker as faint static noise.
