ok, well at least i know i have the right hardware. now its just a matter of 
finding out what i screwed up on the -03 with the bad A-17196. this thing is 
kind of old. circa 1996. but im finacially commited to see it work again (id 
make a terrible gambler/ investor). anyone had any experience with these units? 
suggestions on where to start troubleshooting the 9-1674? thanks for all the
