Dead Phil,
I Thought I would up-date you on Doug. You have been so kind. Doug was
released this past Wednesday. They brought me in and showed me how to
give him shots in his tummy and how to change the bandages on his arm
and side.His hand is being held on with a steel rod attached to his hand
and arm. It seems to bother him a lot. he has to go back for several
surgeries to his wrist and hand. he has lost 22 pounds in the last 19
days. He has a long road ahead of him.
My daughter seems to be doing better, and it is good to have them
home. Doug requires round the clock care right now, though.
I was forced to resign from my job today. But, I believe my place
now is with Doug. Also, when one door closes, another door opens. God
provides!
Doug wanted me to fight to go back, but I cannot leave him alone. I just
cannot do it.
Well, it is almost 3 AM, so I am going to try to force myself back
to sleep.
My hands are going numb on me from the carpel tunnel and I guess
from pulling on Doug so much and using the weed eater a lot. But I would
give one of mine to Doug if I could, just to hear him play his guitar again.
The man could make a guitar talk to you!
