I changed the subject line to better reflect the problem. Q4101 is the HOT I THINK, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have any of my tips databases on this hard drive yet so I'm going from memory. The most common things to REPLACE are CR4118, C4108, CR4402, CR4122, C4111, C4112, CR4105, C4402, C4401 R4119 even if they check good. Also check R4110. You may want to try an original Q4101 or generic sub instead of the NTE. What is the number on Q4101? -Clint God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com http://ComputerHardware-ConsumerElectronics.com sales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fax: 209-882-9602 TechAssist Administration http://tech-assist.org techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 4orpheus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx (alternates) orpheuscomputing@xxxxxxxxx (PLEASE include our previous correspondence if replying to this email!!) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank Miranda" <magicll@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, January 22, 2002 1:34 AM Subject: [TechAssist] transistor I'm working in CTC169JA5,I find in short Q 4101, and replace for NTE2311, thetv no working. and find CR4118 with leak, only have 7.2 volt , replace fornew one an voltage is ok 15.0 volt, the TV star and work for only 25 min. and Q4101 is blown again.
