[TechAssist] sylvania RSK435 acting straaaange

ok, here's the deal.....this set's chasis number is PTV340.....the set, once
turned on will display "BATTERY FAILURE".....once we try to change the
channel it says "NEED PC CONTROL FOR CHANNEL".....after awhile it will shut
off.....while these displays are on, there is no video or audio.....suspect
the microcomputer which is NLA.....any other options why this set is crazy?
