[TechAssist] Re: samsung ct6335 flyback arced through crack, new one won'twork

Gary . I just had an aftermarket flyback for a samsung ct-6335wcx come in
from Maine Electronics and I looked to see if it has the focus / screen
ground return and there isn't one on it as well . I'm assuming you are
refering to a pin on the botom below the focus / screen control that
soldersto the board . I haven't tried it yet and now that you have pointed
itout I guess I'll have to return it . I guess it's no good to order from
Global because that one is probably the same . The funny thing is the # on
the flyback is the same # on it as the orrigional . FCR-25A006R . The OEM
flyback is $95.82 plus shipping and taxes and drives the cost of repair out
the door . Do you know if the one from Cathray has that focus/screen pin on
it ? Thanks . Barry Appleby . burintv@xxxxxxxxxxx[1] Burin Tv Repair .

results-verylow brightness and no focus adjustment. In fact the focus also
acts as a brightness control. When I measure the G2 I get about 15 to 20
volts even when I pull the crt socket. I measured the other scan derived
voltages and most are close enough except the 200v which is about 160v. I
believe that there is a mistake in the make up of the transformer but the
supplier keeps telling me I have a problem in the chassis.I have checked all
components in the appropriate areas (abl) and can't find anything wrong. It
has taken about three months to get the new part because of back order so
thecustomer has been waiting for quite awhile. I do not know what to do
anymore so I am asking if anyone has a suggestion. >>By the way the same
