Charles,
I agree with Paul--to a point. You paid for a genuine and got an
imposter! I haven't used them, but a friend bought some from Suburban
and Electro Sound. Most were unusable. Another shop here in town bought
five from someone (I don't remember who). Three were bad out of the box
or resulted in recalls. It's not worth it to me.
I would complain to the supplier. It's one thing to pay one-third the
price for a generic. It is another (I consider it fraud) to pay for an
original and get a wanna-be.
