[TechAssist] opinions on Sony ptv

re: sound OK no pix, fluid leak on board 7yr old set.
first off I'm not much on Sony's and not ASC for them, but... customer
called with a KP46S25 that has sound but no pix, after taking off the back
I find fluid damage on the IK protect board, 2 of the tubes have fluid at
the reservoirs, so both will need attention, is this a gasket repair or
tube replacement for Sony's ? do I fix it or run? I collected the service
call and told them the repair would exceed 500.00 and have to come to the
shop, he called back and said he wanted a solid quote to compare with
replacement cost, so I'm after someone who has done this, been there etc.
sure appreciate any and all advise.
