Ronald,

These sets are subject to many strange problems due to dozens of capacitors
leaking electrolyte on all of the major circuit boards.  Inspect, test ESR,
check value, and check dc leakage on all electrlytics.  Planon changing
between 60 and 120 caps to get a reliable fix.  I'd test the tubes before
deciding to fix it.
