Enough to cream your meter and is negative to ground so do not use the meter
on the probe type! The door switches are what I found to be the common cause
of the problem you described. Too often they will measure good but not
properly lined up and will not work right, some can be made to work by
closing the door firmly or harder than normal so double check all the door
switches as they are in series.
