A couple more thoughts on this subject. I've done a few deals through the lists, both TechAssist, and NESDA. I think we're all pretty much friends here, so I don't usually worry about sending a part or a manual to someone I've never spoken to. I figure that if I get burned, what have I lost? a used part, and some shipping? BTW, I have never failed to be re-imbursed for a deal, even though I usually ship first, and tell them to pay later. On the other hand, if I was buying/selling a part to/from someone, and they expressed misgivings about the deal, such as I'm reading here, I think I'd just say thanks, but no thanks.
