Al, there is no 12v supply to this tuner, here is something you may want to
try before replacing the eeprom. I can fax a partial print if you need it.
Email me direct with fax number and which section.
Pasted tip:
Symptom:  High Voltage (EHT) remains but there is no:
OSD - Menu
Video - Raster
Sound
There may be a faint line across the top of the CRT.
Cause:  Information in the EEPROM (IC346) is incorrect.  This results in
deadlock of the BIMOS Signal Processor.  Caused in one instance when
Register 66 on Service Page A was adjusted to FF and stored.
Cure:  If in the Service Mode exit by pressing 9, then + (volume up).  The
set will shut off.  Power on and enter the Service Mode by 06-25-95-MENU.
Press A/CH (Surf).  ROM defaults will be written to the EEPROM and normal
operation will come back.
Note:  At this point all items in the Service Mode will have to adjusted for
proper operation.

this unit came in for  no power symtom. found vertical diode and resister
open . replaced vertical ic and diode and resister, now it turns on but have
no picture or sound. checked votages on tuner and i can't seem to find a 12v
supply anywhere. does this set have a 12v supply to tuner. does anyone have
a print on this chassis or info on tuning circuit.after futher checking the
channel up and channel down button turn the tv on and off, that's all they
do. sounds to me like an epprom problem. does anyone have a number for the
eeprom or any suggestions i don't see many mags around here.
