SYMPTOMS: Scrambled picture.

CAUSE: Defective BC-board, part number A-1136-117-A


SYMPTOMS: Customer complaned that when plugged in and cable hooked up
picture is B&W and rolling.


RESOLUTION: Found BC Board defective. Replaced BC Board and unit restored to
normal operation.

SYMPTOMS: Bar across middle of the picture. The bar position will move when
the channel is changed.
In twin view (P&P) right side is good and left side has a bar across the
screen.


RESOLUTION: Replacing the BC Board solved the problem.

SYMPTOMS: No video, no sync, or distorted video.

RESOLUTION: Found IC3048 (YCT Main) defective on the B Board.

Hi guys
I have a weird one. This is a sony tv. when the unit is cold It starts  to
roll vertcally after 2 or 3 min its ok I tried tapping on it doesnt show
problem. after its on for a while maybe 20 min it looses sync again. Has
anybody seen this . This is a very heavy tv set I would need 3 people to
pick up. does anybody have a quick fix before I haul in this beast?
