[TA-A] Re: kv-27exr15 & STR-S6301

It's been a few years since I've repaired one of these but, I think that 
regulator was a Toshiba part originaly. You can get it at Tritronics. There are 
a few other places but, I know they carry the original. Also, check and replace 
electrolytics around regulator and the one off the Horz. Drive transformer. I 
cant find the change notice for that chassis but, Sony had a mod for that 
problem. Even using the original regulator it will stil fail every year or 2. 
Call Sony and see if you can get that info.James Daly
