Hi.
I'm working on a thomson ICC5, and i noticed the 2.4V accu is starting to
corrode. I was wondering: if i desolder this accu, all the channel presets
will be lost, can i just put a new accu in parallel over the old one (on the
solder side of the chassis, there's room enough), or will the old one short out
eventually?
BTW on this particual chassis the "loading circuit" consists of a simple RC
network so it should be able to handle the extra loading current.
Thanks for your opinions...
