Glenn,
Did you do the tuner wrap on this set? If not, I'd do this first. Also Tuner
mixer/osc.IC U7301(215532) or IC U7401(215533) can cause problems like you
discribed. Try heating and cooling both IC's to see if there is any change
in picture.
