Al, resoldered all the pins where it attatches to the 1674 module today when I replaced the 120K`s on the 3 crt boards, got a tip today to re-solder the pins on the top of the board (filament connections), I`ll try that next timeI get into the set, saw a post from Bob Waterman to Mando who has a Zenith projo with a 9-1978 module in it and that board is almost identical to the 1674, both have daughter board, both have same fly and Bob`s 2nd tip says to paralell a 12K resistor to RX3209 because the replacement fly`s intermittently open the 16v winding and kill the video, but I can`t find a 3209 resistor on my board and the tip failed to say where it was located off the fly, same symptom as mine, loses video(filaments go out) after 20-30 minutes, shutting down and turning back on brings the tubes back up, it may be that the 1679 module calls RX3209 some other number, I`ll have to contact Bob and see if he knows, Thanks for the help, Larry E Larry Eastman American TV & Electronics Crystal River, Fl. 34428 ----- Original Message ----- From: "al m" <ampm@xxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 24, 2005 9:37 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Zenith Z52Z95D 9-1674 no video, red crt blurry/smeared convergence issues; 1/2 fixed > Did you check the daughter board for bad solder.
