Customer complained that set would lose horiz, sync in 5 to 15 minutes of power up, but if they went out and adjusted the DSS dish, picture would clear up for a few minutes. I did a sweep solder job on the 9-1092 ps/sweep module and the 9-1054 main module and the unit worked perfectly for over an hour, then started losing horiz. sync again. Is there a bad filter cap causing this? Didn't want to start swapping out modules if a capacitor was the only problem. Dish works perfectly on another set, so am satisfied problem is in this set. > Thanks in advance to anyone that can help . > > Jerry Mossburg > Mossburg Repair Center > 114 N 16th St > Bethany, MO 64424 > 660-425-4400 > > Help make your TechAssist online repair tips > database better!
