[TA-A] Re: Zenith PVR5263MK no picture

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the input. Between what you suggested and
http://www.anatekcorp.com/faq/protv.htm (1/3 of the way down, question
P42803-10, same issue on a model that is covered by my service manual), I did
locate at least one faulty diode (CRX3412). Local Radio Shack didn't have
anything that was suitable, so I'll have to either locate a specialist or order
one online. Anybody know any shops in the Rochester area? :)

I did not find any fuses that had blown anywhere. I don't have a scope handy
so I can't check the HOT (would I be correct in assuming the aforementioned
site is correct and it is the QX3200 transistor?).

Again, I am not experienced in TV repair, so if I'm looking in the wrong spots,
please let me know :) If I am looking in the right spots, are there any other
components I should check since that diode was definitely bad?

For your convenience, I put two versions of the schematics of the power board
on imageshack; I don't suggest viewing them unless you're on a broadband
connection.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the help :-)

supply fuse to the B+ is gone with it.

i had similar PVR chassis do the same thing, it was the HOT, fuse, and
flyback.
