The CRT tests fine (at least for a zenith), the video buffers and amps on all three lines and all related parts are OK but I get no effect when adjusting the red in the service menu. The red output from the TA1268N has blue in it and will not change with adjustment. The output at that point looks compressed and clipped. I can't see anything else that might account for this but have run into enough wierd CRT bias and drive problems in Zeniths that I thought I would ask. TA1268N is a high failure part and I have seen some strange stuff with it but never this one. Anyone ever run into something like this? Leonard G.
