Hello Jim,
I have built a Zener tester, that will go up to 200v and is good to test normal 
diodes for reverse breakdown. I have a PDF of the instructions I used for 
inspiration. The idea is there, but I went about it in my own way, with the 
parts avail. I can send it out if anyone is interested.
