[TechAssist] Yamaha Receiver RX530 No power up

 

On this receiver, cust says it was hit by lightening. I saw no physical
evidence of lightening.  There is no power up but the relay does click like
power is getting to it. Correct me if I am wrong, But if the audio outputs
are shorted will the system not come on? Have checked all of the power
supplycomponents and the check ok. It's been awhile since I have worked on
any stereos..Mostly TV &VCR..
