That might be the way to go. Unless he has some Programs on there that
you will not be able to use after a Clean Install. But then again you
may not want them. Example (Microsoft Office/Adobe Deluxe)

Yes, I saw that too. I already have the keycodes, and my install disk.
The
previous owner has a lot of stuff on here. I'm tempted to just do a
clean
install.
