I use a Plexor Convertex USB video/audio capture/ MPEG2/4/DivX box for about
$150 from www.tigerdirect.com. Comes with capture, editing, and burning
software and instruction book. It would not work properly with a 950MHz
computer I have but worked perfectly with a 1.1GHz computer. If you are
willing to give up some video quality you can put up to 10 hours on a DVD
but it probably wont play on most players.
