Had the same problem a couple weeks ago on this same unit check diodes
D534,D535, D528, D536 for leakage. I am at home now so forget which Diode
that leaking, however I am sure it was one of these. Come Monday I will look
up my notes on this unit.

Good hunting

>Can't control the SMPS. Put more than 25 volts A/C and it blows caps and
burns resistors. At 25 v A/C, the voltage on the drain of the switching
tranistor is about 150v. On the secondary side the H/O tranistor has 180v.
The voltages per the print should be 180v on the drain of Sw.xstr. and 262v
on the HOP col. Have replaced Q510 and Q511 switching transistors,IC502 feed
back and Q507 feedback switching transistor. Have replaced open R514 .33 1w
and R501 3.3 5w resistors. Checked litic caps, diodes and resistors. Replaced
three litics in secondary that smoked. Any ideas?
