Toshiba Techs,

This set is back for the third time with no vert. deflection. All three
times the only thing I can find wrong is fuse F301(500ma) is open. (I don't
have the schematic for this set.) This fuse must only fuse the voltage
supply to the vert. circuit, as nothing else is affected. I haven't replaced
any of the usuall caps(C305,C342,C308) because the picture is perfect after
the fuse is replaced (no foldover, no stretching, etc. ) I have gone over
all the solder connections that looked suspicious in the vert. circuit. The
vert. output IC doesn't run hot either. The catch is after replacing the
fuse it will run for at least a year, before it comes back with the fuse
open again. I don't know if I should go to a slow blow fuse or up the fuse
amp. to 750ma or 1A., or does someone have a tip that will solve this
problem. I checked the Toshiba tips on Tech-assist and found nothing.

                                          TIA
                                          Dan Webster
