[TechAssist] Toshiba KV-7024A OSD problem

Plays prerecorded tapes OK but on its own recordings the OSD creates a
horizontal sync disturbance, starting at the OSD, in the monitor that causes
the picture to bend well down into the next frame. Dont have the manual and
could not gt one the last time I had one of these for service. The OSD is
flashing on and off because I dont have the time set and when it is off the
picture is normal. Does anyone know which of the pots on the board with the
character generator might control the amplitude of the record OSD signal?
