[TechAssist] Re: Thomson TEC

Interesting.
But now I have to interject. I feel I may have been partially
responsible for perpetuating this discussion. For some of the guys, this
may be hard to file into their "database". So lets take this onto the
Chat list, and leave this open for Tech Support.

Just a follow-up: according to
http://www.geographyiq.com/ranking/ranking_Infant_Mortality_Rate_aall.ht
m , the infant mortality rate of China is almost 4 times that of the US.
Iraq is over 8 times greater than the US, and in Afghanistan the IMR is
over 20 times greater than in the US. And the US is twice that of
Sweden's. Just so we all know the facts.

They most likely counteract a higher infant mortality rate by having
more children. Playing the odds.

They can't have too much infant mortality, or any mortality, seeing as
how 1/4 of the worlds' entire population is in China.
