David at 42 I would consider going back to school as an electrician. They 
make great money and there is a demand for electricians.
I don't need the scope , sorry to hear about your bad luck. There is  a 
warranty group called Cornerstone that may have work in Electronic repair if 
you are interested. I know they are legit been around for 20 years. Let me 
know ,can give details.
